Each calltype has a number of options that can be set by Hosportal administrators.
Choose the "Call" section of the website from the navigator bar and select "Admin" at the top right.
You now can see a list of all the Calltypes that apply to your site. Select the Calltype whose options you want to change.
Selecting the "Options" tab (A) will display the information (B) relevant to that Calltype. These can be adjusted by selecting "Edit" (C):
In detail, the various options include:
Users can arrange shift swaps between themselves (outside of HosPortal). Once that swap has been arranged, the person who currently owns the shift can make the swap via HosPortal. Once enabled, an audit trail of any change will be created, and the users and any number of others (as set by you) will be notified by email.
This turns on the self rostering component of HosPortal. This means an administrator can set ranges of dates over which users can select shifts, and quotas can be set for this purpose.
Allows users to put their shifts on the HosPortal "market" where they can be taken by other users. The basic setting permits swaps only, such that the absolute number of shifts any individual does remains the same.
Allowing gifts means users can also put their shifts onthe market in a way that other users can take them, without a shift swap.
Allowing a "bounty" means users can add an agreed value that will change hands to make their shift swap or gift more appealing. This is an honour system between users. HosPortal does not take part in completing or tracking this transaction between users.
This will allow users to generate their own invoices through Hosportal. Rates can be entered and invoices automatically sent.
