In order to be able to make call swaps (outside of the market)
You must ensure that the shift is taken off the market before you attempt to swap shifts. Click here for instructions.
Swapping shifts also depends on whether your calltype has swaps enabled.
You also must arrange with the person with whom you are swapping ahead of time.
If these criteria are fulfilled
You can chose the call you want to swap from your dashboard:
Or the calendar view:
Or the week/month view (your shifts will be in crimson, with a small person next to your name)
Basically, wherever you can see your name on a call slot, you can click on it.
The following dialog will appear:
Choose the name of the person you are swapping with, then choose the shift you have arranged to swap with them.
A confirmation dialog will appear:
What happens after I complete a swap?
- An email is sent to you and the person you swapped with
- An email is sent to any number of administrators who have been designated to receive notice when a swap occurs
- A data trail is recorded and is shown beneath the list of call
