Sometimes it is desirable for an administrator to put a shift on the market, for instance when a rostered user leaves the hospital or has unexpected leave.
To do this
1. On the Call page with the selected shift visible, select Edit to put the call page into edit mode (A):
2. Select the shift that needs to be amended with the pen icon (B)
3. Select the '[market]' option at the top of the drop-down list of users' names (C).
If this shift was initially filled through a self-roster process, you can also amend the user who receives recognition for the roster quota using the Quota drop-down menu in the same way. Normally you would leave the quota with whoever held it already, but you can also place it on the market so it transfers to the person who picks up the shift.
4. Once the changes have been made, select save. The shift on the market will now be visible to all relevant users on their home page when they log in, and can be selected like any other.
