In circumstances where a call shift is unfilled, HosPortal has a number of options that will ensure the shift is staffed equitably.
Log in to HosPortal and navigate to the "Call" tab and select "Edit" on the top right. Then click the plus symbol (A) on the relevant shift:
The following dialogue box will reveal a number of options:
The shift can be made open to a volunteer (B), placed on the market (C) or automatically filled using the Selfroster Quota (D). An administrator can also make a selection of an available individual to fill the shift.
